Greetings!
I'm Kenna Alexander, the owner of Coyote & Crow Games. Our award-winning tabletop roleplaying game, Coyote & Crow, has reached thousands of players as we continue to grow with expansions and supplements.
But we are looking for fans (or future fans) of the game to help us produce an organized play program. What's an organized play program? So glad you asked!
The Storyteller Program
We want to incentivize folks to organize game-play events of Coyote & Crow at their local game stores, community events, conventions, and any other place that the public has a chance to sit down and play a game of Coyote & Crow.
To do that, we need to be able to grow a support network of players that we're calling "Storytellers." These Storytellers will receive some special swag (like a t-shirt and pin), but also access to numerous resources that will help grow their Coyote & Crow community. We'll even be offering pay for Storytellers to run certain events.
Who Can Be A Storyteller?
You don't need to be Native, or to know how to play Coyote & Crow, or to own Coyote & Crow materials or products. You are not required to play or run games. You may sign up, get all the good stuff, and that's that. Of course, we hope you'll be more involved, but that's up to the Storyteller. What Do Storytellers members Get?
Here's a short list of things a Storyteller will receive:
- An exclusive t-shirt
- An exclusive pin
- A Digital copy of Coyote & Crow the roleplaying game
- 9 one-shot playable stories for Coyote & Crow
- 1 set of content codes to all Coyote & Crow materials, for either the Roll20 or Foundry Virtual Tabletop platforms.
- A Storyteller-only Discord channel on the Coyote & Crow Discord server.
- Special YouTube videos
- Their name mentioned on our website as official Storytellers
- Access to special reward tiers on future Coyote & Crow Kickstarters
- Access to an events list that includes players looking for games
- Opportunities to run events at public events and be paid
- And maybe more in the future! The first five items alone are valued at $170 (and may be gifted)
What are we asking for?
You can simply donate if you think that this is a worthy cause and want to see Coyote & Crow continue to thrive. A donation of any amount is helpful! But if you would like to become a Storyteller yourself (or have us offer a membership for someone else, you'll need to donate $160 or more.
Once we have either 40 members or we've raised $5000, the program will be officially launched. For all of the details of the launch, see our website page for the Storyteller Program!
This GoFundMe will stay active as long as necessary, but if we have not raised the necessary money or have the necessary minimum number of members, you'll be able to request a refund for any donation over $10.
**Remember! It's okay to just donate toward launching the program even if you aren't interested in it. And you can donate a membership to someone else!**
