Support the Coyle Family's Recovery Journey

Donation protected
We come to you with heavy hearts as we share the tragic story of Bret Coyle, his son Dane, and his 9-year-old grandson Noah. On the evening of November 1, 2024, what should have been a peaceful family gathering at the Coyle home, quickly turned to heartbreak when they were struck by a drunk driver while crossing the street. In an instant, everything changed for them—and for those who love them.

Dane was airlifted to a trauma hospital over an hour and a half away. He remains in the ICU, battling through severe internal injuries and broken bones, with surgeries still to come. Dane has already lost a significant amount of blood due to the extent of his injuries, and he has had to make the faithful decision to refuse blood transfusions, which adds an extra layer of concern for his recovery. Bret, a father and grandfather who is the backbone of his family, suffered multiple fractures and is enduring complex treatments and complications in the hospital. And young Noah, just 9 years old, sustained a skull fracture and broken ankle. He’s currently being treated at a children’s hospital two hours from home, far from the comfort of his family during this painful time.

For those who know the Coyles, you know they are a family that exudes warmth and love. Known for hosting gatherings filled with laughter, good food, and kindness, they have opened their home and hearts to everyone they meet. This is a family that loves fiercely, cherishes their time together, and shares a tight bond that has inspired so many of us.

In the face of this tragedy, they are holding tight to their faith in Jehovah, finding solace and strength in His care. The Coyles have been surrounded by an overwhelming outpouring of love, receiving countless texts, calls, and messages from friends, family, and even strangers who want to help. Many have asked how they can support this incredible family as they confront the uncertainty and pain of the months ahead.

We are organizing this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden they now face. The family is bracing for the unknown costs of hospital stays, medical bills, and lost wages that come with this long journey of recovery. By donating, you’re offering them the support they need to focus on healing, rather than on mounting bills.

Please keep the Coyles in your prayers, specifically, asking for Dane’s blood counts to rise and his condition to stabilize, that his surgeries and healing process may go smoothly and quickly. Pray for Noah, that his recovery is swift and free from pain, and for Bret to find strength in overcoming his injuries. Also, please pray for peace and comfort for the entire family as they face the emotional toll of this tragedy, that they may find support in each other and in their faith during this challenging time. Every prayer, every thought, and every act of kindness will help carry them through.

Thank you so much reading all of this. Thank you for your love, support, and prayers for our family. With heartfelt gratitude,
