My name is Alexis Kristan from Pueblo Colorado and I’m raising funds for the Cox Ranch. My grandparents have put their heart and soul into raising cattle near Beulah Colorado and they are in desperate need of our help.

On June 29th the Cox Ranch went up in flames in the Aspen Acres Fire. Luckily all of the animals are safe and accounted for after hand herding them miles down the road to a neighbors ranch. Including the 17 calves born this year.

Unfortunately the fire decimated all of the possible grazing land that the cattle rely on through the summer. If money cannot be raised to feed the herd over the next few months then the cattle will have to be sold. Mama’s and babies will be separated at sale. And a family will lose decades of grueling work, passion, and science.

Cox cattle have been hand selected and bred with intention and generations of knowledge. The herd we are fighting to save, specifically, has been curated for the past 15 years.

If you know anything about this family legacy then you know the love and care they put into raising their cattle. Each animal is treated with love and respect. This ranch was started to honor a family legacy and a lifelong dream.

The Cox Ranch has proudly served Southern Colorado for 15 years, this is our chance to give back!
