This GoFundMe has been created on behalf of my friend & wonderful employee, Amairani Cortez, to help alleviate the overwhelming medical expenses her family is facing.

Amairani's oldest daughter Alejandra was diagnosed with leukemia over a year and a half ago and has been bravely fighting ever since. Recently, she required emergency surgery for a transplant following a lung collapse - an unexpected and terrifying turn in an already difficult journey.

Amairani is one of the hardest-working people I have ever known. Even while spending countless hours at the medical center, she has continued working remotely, staying on top of her responsibilities, while caring for her three daughters as a single mother. Her strength and dedication are nothing short of remarkable.

Unfortunately the reality of our healthcare system means that despite her tireless efforts, the financial burden continues to grow. Funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward medical bills, hopsital stays, and ongoing treatment-related expenses.

This is a critical time for Amairani and her family. Any donation - no matter the size - or even sharing this fundraiser can make a meaningful difference and help ease some of the weight they are carrying.
