My grandma has been running The Corn Crib for as long as I can remember, selling her famous grated field corn and fresh produce to our community. Recently, my grandma has been facing some tough challenges, even if she doesn’t always admit it. Then, just last night, tragedy struck: her beloved store caught on fire, the night before she was supposed to open for the season. The Corn Crib is how she pays her bills and supports herself, and with the business being seasonal, this loss is especially hard.
