Please Support the Copeland Family in Their Time of Loss

Donation protected
Hello,

I am Johnnie Refvik, and I have set this page up to assist Kay and Erik, her brother Paul, and her father Rick in their time of need.

Pamela Bryant Copeland passed away Thursday, November 7th at home in Marietta, Ga. She was 69 years old. She will be greatly missed.

Born in the spring of 1955 in Atlanta to Fred and Mildred Bryant, she and her brother, Keith, grew up in the community of Sandtown in Fulton County. She graduated Westwood High School before receiving her degree in Early Childhood Education and love of the Bulldogs from University of Georgia.

Pam married Rick Copeland in the summer of 1982, celebrating forty-two years of sharing a love of music, education, and serving Christ together.

Her passion for education and dedication to the Lord led her to teach first at Mt. Zion Elementary in Jonesboro, GA then at Harvester Christian Academy in Douglasville before teaching and then serving as the Headmaster’s Assistant at Mount Paran Christian School in Marietta and Kennesaw for more than twenty years. With her servant spirit, her dedication and commitment to excellence, she was one of the unsung heroes in the growth of Mount Paran Christian.

Pam continued to serve the Lord and her community through many organizations. Throughout her life she contributed to many choirs with her remarkable alto vocals. Many also remember her volunteering backstage at countless church, school, and dance productions.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter, cousin, and friend, all roles in which she excelled throughout her life. She measured her success by the service and sacrifice she consistently and joyfully provided to all who knew her.

She will be missed by her loving husband Rick Copeland; son Paul (Alissa) Copeland; daughter Kay (Erik) Refvik; granddaughters Harper, Shiloh, Esther, and Juniper; brother Keith (Pam) Bryant; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is joined in Heaven with her parents, Fred and Mildred Bryant, and in-laws, Hovis and Alice Copeland, among many others.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at Mayes Ward Dobbins in Marietta, Ga at 4:00 pm. Because this is a celebration, the family requests that those attending wear bright colors.

In lieu of flowers, please donate here to assist the family in covering the many costs associated with the funeral.

Thank you very much for your assistance.
