Support the Cooley family with the sudden loss.

It is with a very heavy heart and true astonishment that I write this message. February 7th, my Sister-in-Law unexpectedly passed away in her home. At only 41 years of age Melissa is leaving behind 5 children that relied on her daily. She is leaving behind my Brother Shawn as well; he now needs to navigate the world without his partner. Krista and I have discussed and want to start a GoFundMe for the family. Shawn can really use these contributions to continue caring for the 5 kids, supplementing time off from work that he has taken due to weather recently and now the passing of his wife, and giving Melissa the celebration of life that best fits what she ultimately would want.

 

The family would appreciate any contributions or kind words of encouragement and love, support comes in all forms. At this time with the sudden circumstances we all would like to respect Shawn’s wishes to receive no calls or text messages. The family needs this time with each other to navigate the next steps and grieve.
