Support the Community Paddling Days

What was your favorite river memory this summer? Did it involve the Community Paddling Days?

During the last three years, Wave Train Kayak Team has worked to support our paddling community and create a fun, inclusive, and safe way to get out on the river. With the support of Altitude Art Gallery, Northern Lights Trading Company, and Amanda Weber Real Estate, the Community Paddling Days are organized as informal, drop-in meetups that occur weekly at NO COST to participants. In 2022, Wave Train organized 16 CPD meetups with some regulars and some folks who attended once or twice, adding up to 186 participation days (1 person for one day)!

Our sponsors cover 50% of the cost of these gatherings. We are asking those of you who loved coming to the Community Paddling Days and those who love the idea of the CPDs to match the generous support of our sponsors so we can keep this going! If every person who attended donates $75 to $100, we will meet our target! Not bad for up to 16 days of kayaking with Wave Train's kayak coaches! If you can donate more, please do.

Wave Train supported 17% of our youth participants with a total of $4,025 in financial aid in 2022. If we go beyond our fundraising goal, resources will go toward offering scholarships to youth participants. Wave Train Kayak Team is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and donations are tax-deductible.
