Support the Combs-Christenson Family as Zach Enters Hospice

I am heartbroken to update this page and share that Zach passed away on Wednesday, March 5th. Continued support for Tarra and her family is incredibly appreciated during this impossible time.

Three years ago, Zach was hit with a shocking diagnosis of stage IV metastatic colorectal cancer with multiple liver mets. He has battled the tumultuous ups and downs of treatment since then and we are all devasted to have recently learned from his doctors that after months of struggles with various illnesses including bronchitis, flu, and blood infections in addition to his ongoing battle with cancer, his body cannot handle any further treatment and is starting to shut down. Zach has consulted with multiple other health systems/doctors who have indicated the same and shared that they believe he has weeks to live. Zach is now transitioning to home hospice and focusing on spending his remaining time with his wife Tarra and their three wonderful children - Owen (11), Sloane (6), and Ryland (6).

There are no words for the amount of heartache and distress that come with what Zach, Tarra, and their kids are facing and the substantial financial stress of the situation is growing. Tarra will be taking unpaid leave from her job to spend as much time as possible with Zach, though they continue to have mounting medical bills and insurance premiums to pay, etc.

Any amount you can contribute to help alleviate the stress and financial burden they are facing would be immensely appreciated.
