Many have reached out wondering how they can support Jeff, Kate, and their family while Jeff recovers from his accident. This seems the best way. This family does so much for our community, and I know we’re all eager to be there for them in any way we can.

Here is what Kate has shared on Facebook:

“On September 15th, approximately 2 pm, our lives changed. Jeff was working on a truck in our yard. A tree 100 feet away in the woods snapped. As the tree came down, it hit the truck he was working on, the vehicle beside it, then hit Jeff in the back of the head, knocking him to the ground. WP came and took him to JCMC. Javin and I followed. He had a 3-hour craniotomy to relieve the pressure. He's been in ICU since then. Sedated, facial fractures, broken scapula, on a ventilator. Jeff can move both legs and his right arm. No movement from the left arm. He will be there for approximately 3 weeks.”
