Dear family, friends, and to all of you who may or may not know me…
My name is Kristina Cochrane and the Cochrane family has faced an unimaginable tragic nightmare of an April.
On April 3rd, my Nanny, Janina (Jane) Cochrane, went into sudden cardiac arrest. She was in the ICU for 3 days before peacefully passing away on April 6th. My father, Paul Cochrane, has been taking care of his mother for the last 15 years and lost his income because he was my grandmother's PCA.
On April 9th, my Uncle Mike (dad's brother) was found in severe grief shock and was admitted into the hospital and was diagnosed with mental health disorder where he won't be able to come home.
My dad, Paul, has been (quietly) living with stage 4 cancer for the past 3 years. He was having pain and I rushed him to the hospital and on April 20th, we found out his cancer has spread and he is rapidly declining with weeks to months to live.
As I have been the sole care giver for my nanny, uncle, and father the past few months work has not been an option for me during this difficult time. This has become a sudden reality for my sister (26) and I (29) which has left us in debt between medical bills, house mortgage, house bills, and planning funeral services for my nanny. We want to save our house that has been in our family since 1939.
Although I do not want to resort to this I am asking if you could help my family and myself in any way possible. We are so appreciative of any help that comes our way and we want to send our most sincere gratitude for that. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
