In May, Patrick Clausen was diagnosed with one of the most aggressive and devastating cancers imaginable, a sizeable grade 4 glioblastoma tumor in his brain. Since that day, life for the Clausen family has turned upside down. What began as a trip to the ER quickly spiraled into brain surgery, radiation, and numerous rounds of chemotherapy. Through it all, Pat fought with unwavering faith and courage; holding onto hope for his wife, his children, and the life he loved so deeply.

Care has now shifted to keeping him comfortable. Hospice has been called, and the family is spending these precious final days together as much as they can. Holding each other, sharing memories, and trying to find strength in the middle of heartbreak.

The grief is heavy, and still the bills keep coming. Every treatment, every hospital visit, every lost day of work adds to the weight this family already carries. And now, the unthinkable cost of a funeral looms closer than anyone ever imagined.
