Hey everyone, my name is Tj Chirico. Last year our world got turned upside down. After a roller coaster of tests, surgeries, and biopsies we found out that I have Cancer. A germ cell tumor in my chest. With the support of my family and friends I went through 4 rounds of chemotherapy which shrunk the tumor and I eventually had surgery to remove what was left of the tumor. We were told I was cured and that’s what we believed.

It was soon after that the pathology findings determined cancer could still be present and I needed to undergo more testing. Fast forward to now and a whole new battle is in front of us.

I am now under the care of Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC. We had to secure an apartment in the city so I can be there daily for treatment. In order to be able to take this on, my wife and I are not currently working. We are going to move to Manhattan with our daughter and fight this thing together. Chirico family of 3.

We would not have gotten this far without the love, support, and generous donations from so many people. It is my dream and goal to be able to beat this thing and then start something much bigger than just me. A foundation to pay it forward. To help other families going through the same nightmare that my family is experiencing.
