Dear Friends, Family, Work Colleagues, and Kind-Hearted Supporters,

We come to you today with heavy hearts as we share the tragic news of the sudden passing of our beloved friend, Henry Chikwena. Henry and his family recently made the courageous move to Jersey, Channel Islands. However, their hopes and dreams were shattered when Henry unexpectedly left us on the 4th of November, 2023.

Henry was not just a great guy; he was a pillar of strength for his family and a source of inspiration to many. His work ethic, kindness, and infectious smile left an indelible mark on everyone he met.

Henry is well-known for consistently being the first to arrive and the last to leave in the various workplaces he has been a part of. His dedication to his work and his friendly demeanor have created a lasting positive impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Henry had a wide circle of friends and acquaintances who cherished his friendship, and he always extended a helping hand to those in need.

Responding to heartfelt appeals from Henry's friends, especially those in South Africa where he dedicated 15 years to his accounting career, as well as from friends across various international locations, they expressed a genuine desire to extend their assistance. These friends reached out to me to create a GoFundMe account with the common goal of collectively contributing towards the funeral costs for Henry. This endeavour signifies the global outpouring of support and collective sorrow over the loss of a beloved friend.

Please consider donating, no matter how small, as every contribution will make a significant difference in supporting the Chikwena family during this heartbreaking period. Your kindness and generosity will be greatly appreciated, and it will serve as a testament to the strong bonds of friendship and community that Henry so beautifully exemplified during his life.

Let us come together to honor the memory of our dear friend, uncle, work colleague, and brother Henry and provide the Chikwena family with the financial support they desperately need during this challenging time. Your donations will help alleviate their immediate financial burdens, allowing them to focus on healing and remembering the remarkable person Henry was.

Thank you for your compassion, support, and generosity. Together, we can make a difference and show the Chikwena family that they are not alone in their time of need.

Considering the considerable expenses and the family's intention to settle in Jersey, the Chikwena family decided to lay Henry to rest in Jersey on 18 December 2023, where he will be close to his family.

Funeral Arrangements: 18 December 2023 - 12:30 pm, in Jersey.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Vincent
