On October 27th, 2024, Shirley suffered from a brain aneurysm and a stroke, where she laid in a coma for 4 months. When she woke up, the left side of her body became paralyzed. She is also diagnosed with a rare genetic condition of anemia.

Unfortunately 2 weeks ago, Shirley began bleeding from her brain again and suffered from a seizure and is semi-unconscious.

Prior to this incident, Shirley worked 2 jobs and gave money to her parents for housing expenses as they are both retired. Shirley had many interests including Harry Potter, building lego sets, helps lower income individuals by giving money and buying them food, spending time with her friends, being outdoors and loves animals. 

Her family and friends have been focused on helping Shirley in any possible way. Her father has traveled back and forth, an hour each way from the rehab facility everyday to take care of her. Her brother and mother works part-time now to cover expenses.

Shirley’s family has incurred unexpected medical expenses and her family & friends would like to do what they can to help out.
