Support The Charlie Walk for Canine Cancer
Tax deductible
Hello, my name is Colin Brooks and I am 14 years old. I would like to talk about a topic that deeply sickens, and churns my stomach. Animal cancer. To give some background I had a dog by the name of Charlie, and by the time he was six years old, a lump was found in his neck. We took him to the vet, to find that he had many cancerous tumors around his neck. Too many to remove. I was left heart broken, as I had to spend the next three months slowly watching my dog. A creature of such innocence, and loyalty, not even muster the strength to stand, and eventually he had to be euthanized, just to put him out of his misery.
Because of that event, I am now here to help support a cause that I call The Charlie Walk. On Saturday April 12th, at 10:00 AM, I will be hosting a 5k walk/run to help raise funds toward The Canine Cancer Alliance in honor of my beloved dog Charlie. Many pets suffer from cancer that they can’t come back from. Especially dogs. And many people cannot even pay for their dog’s treatments.
Please consider donating to my cause. No amount is too small and your efforts are truly appreciated!
