Support the Champion Family

Jerry was involved in an almost fatal motorcycle accident Sunday, October 16. He has had some traumatic injuries including a skull fracture in his left temple and hearing loss in his left ear. His right calcaneus bone was shattered with multiple fractures. One of the pieces that broke apart pulled his Achilles tendon away and they had to pull that back down to reattach it with three screws. He tore his right LCL in his knee as well as badly dislocated his left shoulder. He has a SLAP tear and an AC joint separation in his left shoulder. Of course lots of road rash. We are so grateful that he is alive!! He does has a long recovery ahead of him and we are unsure of the time frame at this point. He won't be able to put any pressure on his foot for at least 12 weeks. He has several possible surgeries to come. He is the sole provider to his wife, who has physical and some health challenges. They have six children together that Jerry provides support for. They do not have the money they need for bills, and are facing possible eviction and even losing the vehicle they have. Things were already extremely difficult for them and right now it is very scary as they could lose everything. If any of you are able to donate anything we are all so very greatly appreciative.
