Help get us to Ottawa

Hi, our names are Della, Julia, Priscilla and Paige. We are four UBC students who created a website about gender-based violence prevention in Canada, and recently received a grant from the Canada Service Corps and GLOCAL to further our work on this important subject.

We've been asked to accept this grant and award in Ottawa from various Members of Parliament and Senators, but the grant money we received is to further our vital work and does not cover travel expenses.

This is where you could help! We are raising money to fund our group travel so that we may participate in an amazing opportunity to be recognized for our work, and spread our message to our elected officials. Every dollar counts!

The ceremony takes place on February 7th on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
