On Thursday evening while I was grocery shopping at a small local store, I witnessed something truly special. An elderly gentleman was feeding a colony of community cats, something he has quietly and faithfully done for the past nine years simply because he cares.

I shared a short video of him feeding the cats, and it quickly went viral on social media. So many people reached out asking how they could help, and many suggested starting a GoFundMe to support him and the cats. When we met with him to deliver some of the donations, he was incredibly grateful but kindly explained that he did not want the money for himself. He has never cared for these cats expecting anything in return. We asked what we can do with the funds & he agreed that any donations be used to help feed the colony. Because of that, the proceeds will go directly toward purchasing cat food for the cats he cares for.

We will continue to deliver enough food to help him feed the entire colony. Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and support. Together, we can help ensure these cats continue to receive the food they depend on while honoring the selfless wishes of the man who has looked after them for so many years
