Help The Casual Cat Café Become a Permanent Community Fixture!

For the past several years, The Casual Cat Café has been a place where people can relax, connect, and spend time with wonderful cats in a calm and welcoming environment. Our little place has become more than just a business — it’s a community space for cat lovers, friends, families, and people who simply need a peaceful moment with a purring companion.

But like many small businesses, we’ve been facing a challenge.

Over the past three years alone, our rent has increased by more than $800 per month. In addition, there are several updates that the building needs and some which could save us costs in the future but are not feasible investments when we are only given the option of 1 year lease agreements each year. This makes it difficult for us to plan long-term and threatens the stability of the environment we’ve worked hard to build.

Our Goal

We saw the building where The Casual Cat Café operates as on the market. Owning the space would allow us to stabilize our monthly costs and protect the future of the café so we can continue serving our community (and our cats!) for many years to come. The purchase would also allow us to expand into a second building in our back lot to serve more cats and guests! Our goal is to help cover purchase-related fees and needed building updates. If we are not able to purchase our current building, funds would be used to secure another permanent location or provide current building updates provided we have an agreeable lease.
