Hello friends, family, and anyone else that sees this.

Three generations of Carpenters have lived in this house on Terrace St. My grandparents, my father and all of his siblings, and my brother and I were born and raised in this home. Not only has my family lost this heirloom, we have also lost another home on Altadena Dr. that my father (Rick Carpenter) built with his bare hands and left for his family after his passing in May of 2024.

Like thousands of other Altadena Families that are mourning this tragedy, we have lost so much. We’ve never been the kind of family that accepted help from others, but so many of you have reached out that we felt the need to create this gofundme. We can begin to accept your gratitude and generosity in a way where we can tangibly use it: to rebuild for future generations of Carpenters to grow old in Altadena.

All donations will go directly to the Carpenter Family to ensure my mother (Theresa) can rebuild a home that meant everything to her. Even just leaving a prayer and sharing the Lord’s love would be amazing. We are eternally grateful to have so many loving friends and family who have helped us get through these past 7 months and we look forward towards the future.
