Support the Caron Family During Stacey's Hospice Journey

My name is Melissa Dunlap, and I am starting this Go Fund Me on behalf of Stacey Caron, her husband Scott Caron, and their daughter Quinn. We are asking for help with basic living expenses as Stacey enters hospice.

Stacey has been an absolute rock for her family, but now her family needs our help. Stacey has been living with Multiple Myeloma, a type of cancer that affects the body's plasma cells. She has exhausted all treatment options at The Cleveland Clinic and is now transitioning to hospice care with an emphasis on comfort and quality of life. As Stacey begins this journey with her family at her side, many who love and care for Stacey have been asking what they can do to help. In addition to prayerful support, this fundraiser will assist Stacey's primary caregiver, Scott, and their daughter Quinn, with any small expenses that occur for things such as groceries or fuel.

During her cancer battle, Stacey has helped countless people by participating experimental treatments and a CAR-T Cell Transplant at The Cleveland Clinic. As Stacey's mighty battle nears it's peaceful conclusion, it is our turn to help her and her family in this difficult time.

Gone from My Sight

I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side,

spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts

for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.

I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck

of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.

Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone."

Gone where?

Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast,

hull and spar as she was when she left my side.

And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.

Her diminished size is in me -- not in her.

And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone,"

there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices

ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"
