The two loves of my life, my son and husband went for a nice motorcycle ride Sunday afternoon and a deer ended up hitting the bike and my husband tried so hard to keep the bike straight after but it ended up throwing them both off and sliding against the pavement. Thank the lord my son was wearing a helmet but they’re injuries were pretty intense.. my son has a bruised lung and 1st degree burns over his arms and torso.. my husband broke his collar bone and he also has first degree burns on his arms and torso. My son had to be helicopter flown to children’s hospital in DC for an over night stay to keep an eye on his injuries. He now has multiple appointments to treat his burns at the burn clinic planned. we are not ones to ask for help, but seeing as we will be making trips to Children’s for my sons burns and my husband not being able to work for the next month due to his injuries we’re in a position of now how are we going to pay the bills? On top of our insurance only covering 20% of the hospital, ambulance and helicopter bills we’re in a tough spot.. I thank god these injuries weren’t life threatening and my guys are home but now the burden really is settling in on our financial situation. so we’re asking for a little help.. thank you for reading and please keep praying for our family.
