We are reaching out to all of you on behalf of the Campbell Family, Evan, Gina, Cody and Tyler. They are very close family friends of ours. Evan Campbell was diagnosed with Stage four incurable colon cancer in 2023 that moved to his liver, lymph nodes and lungs. As you all might know, Evan is a true fighter with the best spirit. As we have been told from Evan, “Learn from yesterday, prepare for tomorrow, anddddd…live for today.” The Campbell family has taught us that, “life could always be worse. Pick yourself up and move forward enjoy life”. During this battle, Evan and his family have also come across a path that they never thought was imaginable. Their oldest son Cody was diagnosed with Stage four Hodgkin’s Lymphoma “highly curable” in 2025. Cody has had a strong example from Evan and “fighting the good fight as they say”. For months Evan and Cody were having treatments together with Gina by their side the whole way. Thankfully, Cody’s cancer is in remission right now. Cody has since completed all of his twelve treatments. A HUGE and hard-fought milestone. We all are incredibly grateful for how far he’s come and hopeful as he moves forward. Cody will continue to be monitored over the next two years. Evan continues his own treatment and is on a waiting list for clinical trial. Through it all, Evan can still be seen out and about, keeping his spirits high, facing each day with determination, and sharing his joy through music. Tyler, their youngest son, a Senior in high school, has been a true example of this families positive, giving and thoughtful spirit, including helping with Unified Basketball. He is also the manager of Monument Mountain High School basketball. Evan and Cody are fighting with everything they have and are not letting it rule their worlds. We are asking for the community’s support for this strong loving family to help ease some of the medical bills and travel expenses accruing, so they can spend time together.
