We are raising funds for the Calle family of Albany Park after a devastating apartment fire on Troy on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, burned down their building. Many families were displaced, and the Calle's family of four had everything they owned destroyed, including all their belongings—clothes and furniture—although they were able to save their pets.

Some of you may know Manny as the friendly, hardworking employee of First Slice Cafe in Ravenswood; he also works at the Ravenswood Manor and Andersonville locations. His youngest attends Hibbard School, and his daughter has been an employee at the cafe.

As a community of neighbors, we are raising funds to help this family through this incredible loss. Funds raised will go toward temporary housing, clothing, and basic necessities to help them recover and rebuild.

Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference, as will sharing this fundraiser.
