Support the Burk Family in Honoring Brett

Ashley Burk and her family are a part of the Break family and integral parts of our community at large. Sadly, Ashley and her family are enduring the loss of their brother, Brett-only 4 years after losing their beloved mom, Dawn. Ashley and I have a long history through the founding of the Break Teen Center. Since 2022, she has become an even more integral part of the Break as an employee and trusted adult to our members. Ashley has worked so hard to get on her feet since the passing of her mom. She has moved mountains to establish herself in her own home and move forward in the education she delayed after her mom’s passing. She takes care of many-but the care, unconditional love and devotion she showed her brother Brett inspires. Brett was loved at the Break and his smile won’t be forgotten.

I am asking our community to wrap Ashley and her family in the same love she shows everyone and help them navigate the financial burden of laying Brett to rest and celebrating his life. Travel, days off of work, funeral expenses and more are all mounting for 5 siblings who are determined to pay tribute to a man lost to this world far too soon.
