I’m Brad, the founder and sole creator behind The Burbank Bla Bla, a growing arts and culture magazine now in its seventh issue. The magazine’s mission is to spotlight local Burbank artists and cultural figures who support the arts in all forms—from painting and filmmaking to food and beyond. Each issue is a celebration of creativity, featuring stories, reader-written material, and taped interviews that bring our Burbank community’s vibrant talent to the forefront. One highlight has been featuring Will Carsola, a local artist known for designing the logo and media for Liquid Death, as well as creating the Adult Swim show Mr. Pickles. These kinds of connections show the impact The Burbank Bla Bla is already making in the creative world.
Currently, the magazine is distributed digitally, but I’m eager to expand into print to reach even more people. I’ve been running everything myself, but with your support, I hope to bring on contributors, fund special events, and cover the costs of putting each issue together. The goal is to host events that bring artists and audiences together, and to build a larger, more inclusive creative community. I would also like to give back to the artistic community to assist in supporting artists. Every contribution will help us grow, support local talent, and make arts and culture accessible to everyone.
