Support the Bun Family After Their Loss

On Sunday October 29th, our dear friend Sophanny Bun’s parents’ (Hap Bun and Sopha Te) home accidentally caught fire in Newport News. The damage is devastating and extensive and it’s likely that the house cannot be saved. Thankfully, and more importantly, no one was hurt. The family has tried to salvage what they could but so much has been ruined. If you have been in a similar situation or with a loved one, you know that insurance does not cover all costs and can be a very long and painful process. Many of us have spent time at this beautiful home for meals and celebrations, always keeping us fed through good times, bad times, or for just a simple meal. If you know them, then you know they are very gracious and prideful and would never ask for help. They have lived in this home for over 30 years, raising their children and babysitting 3 beautiful grandsons on Mac Neil Drive. Many memories of Joy have taken place in this Home. Let’s help them create more!

Hap Bun and Sopha Te are amazing and wonderful people that need your help. The next few days, weeks and months will be extremely challenging for them. Please help us in easing the burden. Any amount is helpful.
