Support the Bryant family during their financial tragedy.

Hello everyone. This is a GoFundMe for my brother (Tim) and his family. They are going through a tragic time in their lives. I wanted to make this so we can come alongside them and support them. Every little bit will help, be it $2 or $100, and if you aren’t able at this time to support financially at all, we are very grateful for your prayers. ❤️

Here is their story:

After 11 years, we were finally able to purchase a 'new to us' family car that was not 20+ years old. It was something reliable for our family that we could trust to drive more than a few blocks. We were able to get it financed. After only 5 months, this all came to a screeching halt on 01/27 when I (Tim) was in a bad accident, causing the vehicle to likely be deemed either unrepairable or will cost up to $10k to repair.

Our warranty was over two months ago, and we unfortunately had no gap coverage. Because I was deemed 'at fault,' neither insurance will pay a dime for anything.

We are now left with an old Toyota Camry that has right at 300k miles and many mechanical issues, leaving us without reliable transportation. I (Tim) have a 25-minute commute to work, and we are currently in our busiest part of the season.

As a family of 3, we have only one income and face quite a lot of medical bills and expenses. Adrian has had ongoing medical challenges, one of which is Lupus and causes difficulty in being able to work.

I know we will be okay and will get through these times, and I am so very thankful because it could have been far worse.

Update:

We are so very thankful and feel incredibly blessed by many family and friends who have been so generous. We wanted to get an update out to everyone on where we are with the situation.

While it has not been easy - we are fortunate. It could have been worse and we are reminded of that very regularly. After getting multiple opinions on the feasibility and cost of getting the car repaired, we were thankful to find out that although extensive - it is possible and we are persuing that route. The cost of having it fixed is currently a better option than being without reliable transportation due to the low milage it has and the more extensive expense of finding something different.

The total out of pocket repairs that we will have to pay directly comes to $11,280.00 of which we have already placed a down payment to have parts ordered and the repair started. This also includes a two week rental that fortunately insurrance is helping with to bring the cost down.

We will cross this hurdle and look to the next as it comes. Again, thank you to everyone who has already contributed financially and most importantly for all your thoughts and prayers that have been abundant. -The Bryants
