Support the Brown Family's Mission to Jamaica

Hello Friends and Family! This year, our crew has accepted a Call from the Lord, via our church home -- Pinedale Christian Church in W-S, NC (www.pinedale.church), to go on a missions trip to spread the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will be presenting multiple VBS (Vacation Bible School) programs for Jamaican kiddos and their families for about one week. This has elements in each of our wheelhouses: sports and friendship for Zach; arts and crafts for Sydni; hospitality for Jacki, and skits/evangelism for Chris. We are beyond excited to see what the Lord will do with this, planting seeds that could change life trajectory, and helping us to grow in our relationship with Jesus.

We have many friends in Missions, like the Harters in Germany and the Manuses in the Middles East. Now, it is our turn to live out that Great Commission! ("Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." --Matthew 28:30)

Where we need your help, first and foremost, is prayer support. Please pray that the Lord will set up divine appointments for us to give His good news to other souls. Please pray that the team will travel safely. Please pray for persevereance in what are sure to be challenging surroundings--hot, slightly less modernized, and unfamiliar. Please pray for the deeping of our faith in the Lord. If you do this and nothing else, you have helped us greatly.

Secondarily, we have a financial need. Would you please consider a one-time donation so that we can pay the costs of the trip. This covers the flight, food, and the dorm room that we will be staying in. This is outside of our comfort zone and truly a leap of faith, but we believe God will respond...through you all!!

Little known fact: Chris remains ordained as a Children's Pastor. (Since 1998!) Working in Christian Middle School athletics is a completely awesome expression of this mantle. Perhaps an even greater one is showing those young Jamaicans another example of the love of Jesus, and teaching them about His salvation for them! Will you help us to do this?
