Support the Briggs Family After Tragic Loss

On August 28th my life and my families life was changed forever. Duane Briggs Sr, a father to 6 children and a husband to his wife for over 30yrs , Duane suddenly suffered cardiac arrest and stopped breathing at the tender age of 52 and after going 30 mins without breathing the paramedics were able to bring him back and he was then rushed to the hospital. On September 7th my family was given the most devastating news, my father lost all brain activity. At 9:24pm September 7, 2024 I watched my father Duane Briggs Sr transition. Although very unexpected we thought we were prepared because my father had life insurance through NY Life unfortunately because my dad wasn’t paying on the policy for over two years we now have to come out of pocket for this very unexpected passing along with the unexpected expenses.
