Support The Briggs Family

Hello Everyone, my name is Shay. I'm starting this go fund me in hopes to help out my dearest best friends during this very difficult time. On June 1st Tara and Malikai Briggs lives would change for the worse. The doctors told them the one thing no parent ever wants to hear. Their daughter, 13 year old Layla was diagnosed with leukaemia. We're still unaware of all the details until they do a spinal tap & bone marrow test that is to take place today (June 3rd).

Just like everyone else now a days, Tara & Mal are just getting by. Both working full time jobs, until they were hit with this unforeseen tragedy. Tara will be taking time off work to stay with Layla at CHEO. Mal is going to work as much as he can, whilst visiting Layla, as well as taking care of their other two children at home in between. Thankfully Mal's workplace has allowed him to use a company vehicle as their family vehicle recently broke down. With Tara and Mal currently being down to only one income rent, bills, and travel costs are going to be challenging for their family.
