Help is needed for this young family of 4...
Gretchen, our sister/daughter-in-law, was diagnosed with breast cancer this past August. She’s currently completing her 6th round of chemo in December with surgery and radiation to follow in January 2020.
Gretchen, through all of this, has stayed so positive (!) but is unable to work in the career that she loves, as an occupational therapist at the Canandaigua VA Hospital.
Matthew continues to make Gretchen, the love of his life, laugh and their fun loving spirit, and unwavering generosity makes them the most genuinely caring individuals that most people have ever met.
And then, yet another tragic turn of events...
Matthew was injured on the job while restoring water utilities to village residents. Knee surgery is required and he will be out of work for many months.
We have started this Go Fund Me account to ease the burden of these two parents, Gretchen and Matthew. Over the next days, weeks, and months ahead they will need to be at countless doctor appointments, hospital stays and surgeries. As you can imagine the normal costs of every day living...such as mortgage, food, gas, car, etc...the medical costs can be astronomical.
This will enable them to be able to concentrate on Gretchen getting well and fighting this wicked disease called cancer.
Please HELP US as we try to ease some of the financial stress that Gretchen and Matthew face so they can both get well and be there for their two little boys, Hudson and Lincoln!
