Hello, my name is Melanie Botello, daughter of the owners of the home where this tragedy took place. On September 20, 2025, my family’s home suffered a total loss due to a fire that took place at around 2:00 pm.

I’m doing this GoFundMe in hopes of trying to help my parents get back on their feet slowly after this tragedy. My family has been the 3rd generation to live in this home. It belonged to my great-grandparents, my dad’s parents, and now us. As you can imagine, this home held a lot of memories for us and our family.

I’d also like to say a really big thank you to EVERYONE that has been there for us, to our family and friends that opened up their homes to us, to those who took us waters, Gatorades, electrolytes, etc. Me and my family are forever grateful. It means more than you’ll ever know.

Though this might have knocked us to the ground, we are firm believers in our Lord and Savior. For “This too shall pass” and we will soon be up on our feet again.
