Infertility, irregular menstruation, fibroids, cysts, and hormonal changes are all misunderstood by modern science. In the holistic healing practices of many cultures, it is widely accepted that unaddressed traumas can create deep imbalances that lead to illness in the body. While the Western approach remains ineffective in treating the roots of these issues, the lost art of Womb Steam provides an answer.

Womb Steam is a traditional healing practice that supports women in all phases of reproductive health and is an indigenous healing practice that belongs to us all. La Vonne received this medicine lineage, as a rite of passage, from her Afro-Caribbean grandmothers at puberty. She then reawakened to the power of Womb Steam after a near-death-experience that placed her on a path of deep healing. For the past 13 years, La Vonne has been sharing this knowledge with women of diverse backgrounds; from domestic violence shelters and women’s prisons to the private homes of the Hollywood elite.

The outline for The WombSteam Book is complete and includes narrative sections about the myth, magic and medicine of womb steam as well as recipes and rituals for every new moon. We are now raising money to support La Vonne while she writes her book.
