Support Andrew and Dana's Efforts in Hurricane Relief
Donation protected
Hi friends - Nate and I are partnering with Jonathan and Patricia Swindle to raise funds for our dear friend, Andrew Bobilya who is in the middle of the hurricane wreckage in Black Mountain, North Carolina. He and his brother Dana are working tirelessly to provide aid to those affected by the disaster, including partnering with the Trailhead restaurant to provide meals and using heavy equipment to get to folks who are trapped.
Andrew says:
"We continue to try to help people daily. No power, no water, no sewer. I have no idea what news you're hearing but it's unfathomable how bad it is and also amazing how people are coming together to help. We appreciate your prayers...I think that if I can drive out of town and access cash somewhere, I can get more resources that we know we need as we keep helping people. Even just money for fuel and basic supplies...The biggest thing we are finding is that it’s very hard to coordinate all the resources to get to people that need it. For example, a friends brother did a go fund me yesterday, which was able to purchase a couple generators to get up into people trapped at their houses."
For credibility - Andrew is a respected professor at Western Carolina University. https://www.wcu.edu/faculty/ajbobilya.aspx
Dana is a home builder with access to useful equipment for the rescue efforts https://www.harrisonhomesnc.com/about/
Any amount you're able to contribute would be so appreciated, and please also share this with your network. Any additional funds not using in their direct efforts will be donated to the American Red Cross for hurricane relief.
