The Block Weiss family's home was severely damaged in the Woolsey fire on Friday and they are still under evacuation.
Anyone who knows Kevin, Wendy, Annie, and Beth, knows that theirs are the biggest hearts, always with room for one more, be it human or animal. Many a dog has found a comforting foster home under Wendy's care, and many other pets have lived out their lives in comfort in that wonderful house. Currently, four dogs make their home with Kevin and Wendy.
The Block Weiss's create family out of community, as many from CVH, musical theater, and so many other groups know well. Their house has hosted yearly summer BBQs, Friendsgivings, and New Year's Eve parties for countless years.
Home is where the heart is and they are incredibly grateful to be together and be safe. We can hold them up and help them get back to where they were before, to rebuild the home that will once again have open doors to anyone in need.
