Hi, my name is Joy Davenport, and I’m building something that has grew insidex me for a long time — a wellness movement called InJoy Wellness Co. My dream is to bring healing, peace, and stress relief directly to the people in our community who need it the most.

This vision grew from my own life experiences.

For years I’ve cared for others — in nursing homes, in assisted living, in my own home caring for family, and in workplaces where people push through pain and stress because they feel they have no choice. I’ve seen how easily we forget to breathe, to pause, to take even a single moment for ourselves.

And I’ve also seen how powerful one healing moment can be.

How a single touch, a breath, or a mindful pause can shift someone’s entire day… sometimes even their outlook on life.

That is what InJoy Wellness Co. is built to bring back — moments of relief, clarity, and human compassion.

Through InJoy Mini Mindful Moments, we will bring chair massage, table massage, guided meditation, and pop-up massage stations straight to workplaces, schools, events, and community spaces across Tallahassee, Leon County, and North Florida.

I want to meet people where they are, even in the middle of busy days, and remind them that their wellbeing matters.

I’m raising $5,000 to officially launch this mission — to cover my LLC, insurance, basic equipment, supplies, my massage therapy school deposit, and the early resources needed to start serving our community right away.

But this movement isn’t only about healing bodies — it’s also about healing lives.

I plan to hire from within the community, especially:

Single mothers who need flexible hours

College students who want income without sacrificing education

People seeking a second chance or a new beginning

I want InJoy to be a place where people grow, learn a trade, gain confidence, and find purpose — not just a job.

This is more than a business.

It’s a commitment to bring wellness, dignity, and compassion back into everyday life.

To remind people they are seen.

They are worthy.

They deserve to feel good again — even if it’s just for a few minutes at a time.
