✨ The Biometric Study: Music, Science & Human Connection (Phase 2)
Help us prove that music can heal — one heartbeat at a time.
After the success of Stormy Skies – Connected Performance — featured at the Monolith Awards 2024 and highlighted by Deadline Magazine — Grammy-winning artist Nathalie Bonin launched the first phase of The Biometric Study: a groundbreaking exploration of how music, breathwork, and movement affect the body and mind.
Now, we’re ready to take the next step — to discover how sound, science, and human connection can create real-time collective coherence.
(In simple terms: we’re exploring how people’s bodies and emotions can literally synchronize through music.)

What’s Happening in Phase 2
November 21–23, 2025 • The KINN, Venice, California
Over one immersive weekend, 20 participants will experience live music, guided breathwork, movement and other creative modalities combined with real-time biometric feedback — tracking brainwaves, heart rate, and emotional states.
These physiological responses will be visualized as evolving digital art, revealing how music can unify us on a biological and emotional level. This experiment bridges art, science, and community — showing that what moves us can also heal us.

Every member of this extraordinary team is donating their time and expertise.
Your contribution directly supports the equipment, venue, and research costs needed to bring this study to life.
Our Mission: To make the invisible visible
We investigate the measurable evidence behind how creative and self-regulatory practices — including art, music, heart coherence and breathwork — influence emotion and physiology, unlocking their potential to heal and foster collective well-being.
Main Goals of Phase 2:
- Community Impact: Provide participants with a transformative experience, blending science and art in a pioneering format.
- Scientific Insight: Collect biometric data on the physiological effects of music and breathwork to advance research in wellness and neuroscience.
- Innovation Showcase: Demonstrate how these findings can support corporate wellness, healthcare innovation, and immersive entertainmentexperiences.
Why We’re Raising Funds
We are raising funds to cover essential project costs, including:
- Venue & production (lighting, audio, and video capture)
- Travel & lodging for Canadian and U.S. researchers
- Equipment (ECG & HRV devices, EEG headsets)
- Data collection & analysis support
- Photography & documentation for publication
- Disinfection equipment / products
Everyone on this team is volunteering their time.
100% of funds go toward expenses that make this research possible.
The Next Chapter
Your support will help us share the results at the UNESCO Week of Sound in Los Angeles, 2026, where we’ve been invited to present our findings.
This global stage is our chance to show how music, science, and empathy can come together to enhance human connection.
It’s also the foundation for Phase 3 — a large-scale, collective biometric experience where artists and audiences co-create real-time visual and emotional harmony.
