Support the Bertrams and baby Andrew!

Meagan went to South Shore on 1/11 with the intuition that something wasn’t right. They found that Andrew was in distress and needed an emergency c-section. Andrew was immediately admitted to SSH NICU where he received great care overcoming a heart murmur but was soon diagnosed with a brain bleed and hydrocephalus which sent him to Boston Children’s. They performed surgery to place a shunt and relieve pressure in his brain. He is currently still recovering from surgery and will have more obstacles to overcome before he can come home in a few months. Andrew has a long road of recovery ahead. For the best outcome Andrew will need many forms of therapy and specialists when he comes home. Any donations made will help the family with the financial burden that comes with this situation such as time off work and traveling to Boston.
