Support the Bensons

Hi, my name is Molly and I'm fundraising to support the Benson family as Olivia goes through a life changing surgery. Olivia is your typical rambunctious toddler who LOVES Blippi, dancing, music, playing with her big brother Alex and snuggling with her parents James and Erin. What you can't see from the outside is that this sweet little miracle was born with a few rare congenital issues including: pulmonary agenesis meaning she is missing her right lung, dextrocardia meaning her heart is on the wrong side of her chest and flipped backwards, tracheal stenosis which is narrowing of her airway and to top it all off she has a pulmonary sling which is her left pulmonary artery being routed between her trachea and esophagus rather than in front of the trachea. This is causing her some breathing difficulties and paralysis of one of her vocal chords. Due to these issues she needs to have a major surgery to fix it and reroute her artery and reconstruct her trachea. Her surgery is scheduled for July 28th and the Benson family will need a lot of support as Olivia has a long hospital stay and recovery ahead! All funds will go directly to benefiting the needs of their family while they are out of work, medical bills, travel expenses and whatever else they need while supporting Olivia.
