Support the #bennythebrave fight!

As this unexpected news has thrown our world upside down we are finding little incidentals that are arising along the way. This fundraiser will support us in the long haul as we make co-payments to the insurance company, the millions of extra trips to the hospital and the higher cost for food due to eating out so much.

Though we do anticipate that the majority of your help will go towards hospital/insurance bills, your support helps to give us some much needed breaks and self care.

As Benaiah goes through treatment we will spend a majority of our time at the hospital in patient. During this time we may periodically run home to get mail, look in on our dog Mel or just take a break. Due to Benaiah's immunity risks he won't be allowed to leave the hospital floor he is on at all during treatment rounds. There will be times due to this that even we his parents won't be able to leave the floor. Through these times we will be restricted to hospital food and the assistance of nurses to keep us stocked with what we need. On our breaks, where we can leave the floor, we will have access to food delivery (only from local restaurants as there are time restrictions on how long food can sit idle) or grocery runs to the Whole Foods around the corner.
