With Heavy Hearts and Grateful Spirits
Hello, my name is Rob Bello, and I find myself doing something I never imagined—reaching out for support during one of life’s most difficult moments.
My beloved sister-in-law, Meybol Bello, has passed on after a courageous battle with breast cancer. While our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing she is finally at peace.
If you had the blessing of knowing Meybol, you know she was truly one of a kind. If you didn’t, you would have felt it within minutes of meeting her. Her larger-than-life spirit, boundless energy, and infectious warmth lit up every room she entered.
Meybol came to the United States from Costa Rica, chasing the dream of creating a better life for her family. With tireless dedication, she poured her heart into her work, her home, and above all—her children. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Roger, her 20-year-old son Roger Jr. who is soon to graduate college, and her 15-year-old daughter Jennifer, a sophomore at Ridgewood High School.
Many in our community know the family through La Stada Deli, the business that Meybol and Roger built together. While Roger continues to work tirelessly to keep things running, he is also carrying the weight of upcoming medical bills from Meybol’s eight-week hospital stay, all while trying to provide stability and love for his children in this painful time.
Roger is a proud man, and asking for help does not come easily. That’s why, as a family, we’ve come together to support him—and to humbly ask for your support as well. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden of medical expenses and allow Roger to keep the business thriving, so the family can continue moving forward with hope for the future.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your generosity, kindness, and prayers. Your support means more than words can ever express.
With everlasting gratitude,
The Bello Family
