Our family has experienced a great loss today. David Beck-Shank was the kid that would prank you then give you the biggest hug while he filled the room with the joy of his laughter. As a man, he was still a goofball and through years of  adversity, his heart only continued to grow. David and his family experienced a re-birth in the last few years, some credit due to his new wife, Jessica, and their kids.  

Jessica and David bought a new vehicle yesterday, the same day he was killed. 

Our goal is to raise funds for the family's expenses now in the wake of losing one of our sons. Jessica will be left to support her family on her own in grief and a time of so many decisions, and those shoes are ones no one should have to wear. 

Do you remember what it was like when your family was young and every dollar made a difference, every hour of work affecting if you could even put gas in the tank? All the times that your kids begged for a Happy Meal and your exhaustion wanted to comply but there just wasn't an extra $10 that week? Let's ease  the burden of worrying about how they will afford their bills. Jessica and the boys deserve a strong foundation to build on and to feel our community surrounding them in love and support.
