A couple of weeks ago, Jeff received some difficult news: he has been diagnosed with advanced stomach cancer. Always health-conscious and experiencing only minor symptoms, the diagnosis came as a complete shock.

True to who they are, the Becker family is facing this challenge with strength, positivity, and grace. Jeff began high-dose, experimental chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments last week. Now on an indefinite leave from work to focus on treatment and healing, he and his family are navigating the many medical and practical challenges the months ahead will bring.

If you know the Becker family, you know they are deeply rooted in and truly cherished by the Wrentham community. Karen has devoted countless hours to local causes, including serving on the Wrentham 350 Committee, which helped the town celebrate its 350th anniversary in 2023. She continues to give her time as an active member of both the Wrentham Landscape Committee and the Cultural Council. Karen and Jeff were also closely involved in the King Philip Music Association during the years their daughter Isabel performed with the King Philip Marching Band. Isabel graduated from KP in 2024, and their son Jack currently attends Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School.

The Becker family has always shown up for others. Now it’s our turn to show up for them.
