Justin and Áine Becker are a young family of four living in Durham, Westgrey, raising their two children, Croia (3) and Russell (6 months), with so much love and care. and until recently, Justin was the sole provider for their family, working as a skilled tradesman.

On February 4th, 2026 while working in his shop, Justin was involved in a tragic accident that resulted in the loss of four fingers on his right—and dominant—hand. He is currently receiving excellent care from a dedicated team of surgeons and nurses in London, Ontario. While there is hope and deep gratitude for the medical support he’s receiving, this injury is undeniably life-changing.

This accident affects not only his ability to work, but the entire family’s financial stability. As Justin focuses on healing, surgeries, and rehabilitation, Áine is caring for their two young children while navigating the emotional and practical challenges this sudden change has brought.
