Support The Frayser Bay Youngbulls For CHRISTMAS!

MERRY CHRISTMAS GOOD PEOPLE!!!
My name is Aaron Micheal Proctor and I proudly serve as a spiritual growth leader, mentor and basketball coach in the North Memphis community. I just happen to work with a great coaching staff where we run a gym inside of Martin Luther King Jr. College Preparatory High School and our gym performs as a safe haven for students, ages 8-18 in the low income neighborhood of Frayser. Our roles exists to build relationships with student athletes, guide them to discover their identity in Christ and help them not only find their calling, but also their purpose in the community. Our vision is to help each individual child grow in their walk with God and learn how to exercise and build up their faith to lean more and more on Jesus Christ in their everyday lives.
SO… here goes nothing!
At M.L.K. Prep, we have a total of 3 boys basketball teams. And we proudly call ourselves THE Frayser Bay Youngbulls! There’s a middle school team led by one of our coaches and we also have 9th/10th grade and 11th/12th grade teams that I’m rewarded with each and everyday to coach myself. As a former ball player, I know how much of a necessity it is to always have a decent pair of basketball shoes. Well, here’s the thing. For some of the Youngbulls, that isn’t the case! A vast majority of our young guys could desperately use a new pair of basketball shoes from your help this Christmas! Most of them either play basketball in really old worn down shoes that have no grip at the bottom or their everyday shoes that are used for all purpose activities. My dedicated team and I were looking to possibly fundraise for up to 40 pairs of basketball shoes for 40 different wonderful young men! A decent pair of basketball shoes go for about $80-$90. Which means we are looking to raise up to $3800, so that all of our guys, both middle and high school could get the same matching basketball shoes! Now that’s TEAM BALL!
These basketball shoes would be a great way to give our players a sense of their belonging to our culture! We ultimately love and care for each and every single one of Youngbulls and we would love for you guys to help us be a blessing to them during this holiday season!
So, please! Just think about it. Pray about it! And know that every penny counts to putting a smile on one of these guys faces! Any donation is a generous donation and anything helps to support The Frayser Bay Youngbulls this Christmas!
