Hi everyone! Lynlee is currently experiencing complications with her pregnancy and is unexpectedly camped out at the hospital until the baby is born (minimum). She’s been diagnosed with Influenza B as well as pre-eclampsia. For those that aren’t familiar with pre-eclampsia, it affects the arteries carrying blood to the placenta. If the placenta doesn’t get enough blood, the baby may receive inadequate blood and oxygen and fewer nutrients. Lynlee will only be at 30 weeks gestation this week, so the pre-eclampsia is going to lead to a pre-term delivery (likely a C-section) in the next few days as well as a lengthy NICU stay.
