I am reaching out to share the heartbreaking situation facing my dear friend Nicole Baughman and her family. On their way to a routine doctor's appointment, Nicole's daughter, Liz, and husband, Dave, were tragically involved in a severe car accident. Another driver lost control and collided head-on with them, leading to critical injuries for both Liz and Dave.

Dave is currently in Bethesda North Hospital, where he is being treated for three fractures in the back, a cracked sternum, and bruised intestines. Meanwhile, Liz is in the Neuro ICU at the University of Cincinnati Hospital, fighting through a brain bleed and broken pelvis. The medical team is working hard, but her prognosis remains uncertain and is a matter of great concern.

Nicole, as well as Dave, will need to take time off work to be with their family during this critical time. With mounting medical expenses and the challenges of daily life that will arise in the coming weeks, we are asking for your support.

We have launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover medical bills, support daily living expenses, and offer some financial relief to the Baughman family during this challenging time. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference and help ease some of the burdens they are facing.
