Hey Everyone! Thank you for taking a moment out of your incredibly hectic lives to read this and possibly share. An amazing family is in desperate need of immediate assistance as they experienced the loss of their residence as a result of a house fire. Mariano, Abra and the Basulto kids are very well known throughout the slowpitch softball community in the Bay Area and could use all of the support they can get during this difficult transition in their lives. Today was one of their children's birthdays, and will be one she'll never forget. At 0817 this morning a passerby called into dispatch to report a house fire. Thankfully, everyone was at either work or school, but their dogs and other pets had to be rescued, with two of the four doggies needing resuscitation. While everyone is physically well, the mental strain of having to determine housing for at least the next six months to a year, along with acquiring food, clothing and supplies is extremely overwhelming. Since they currently are uncertain of their material needs, cash donations would be wonderful to at least provide a temporary solution for housing until a more permanent one can be established. In addition, simple donations of unneeded bathing supplies, clothing, bedding, pillows, etc, along with food and pet necessities will be greatly appreciated! The kids are all teenagers, and the family all wears adult sizes L - 2XL. If anyone wants to donate material items, please reach out.
